I wrote an RSS feed in Python using Django, using these instructions https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/4.1/ref/contrib/syndication/
It worked great locally. I can see my RSS feed with no issues on localhost:8000/latest/feeds
But when I deploy it the output looks like this:

Its base64 encoded but I do not understand why. Looking at the content type through the dev tool network tab it says that its
content-type: application/rss+xml; charset=utf-8
Some reason the apigateway on the server thinks its binary and encodes it? I tried everything I could and can not get this issue resolved.
