Reliance JioFiber: 150 TV channels without cable TV connection, details

The company has started offering 4K set-top boxes to Reliance JioFiber users. Through this set-top-box, the company is offering IPTV service to some users. According to a report by Telecom Talk, the company is offering IPTV service through set-top-box to paid users who have recently migrated from preview offer plan to paid plan. These paid users are currently able to watch over 150 TV channels through IPTV. There is no need to get a connection to a local cable operator to watch TV channels through IPTV.

Jio TV app option not visible:

While launching the Jio Fiber service, the company said that the set-top-box will come with the built-in JioTV app, but subscribers who use the set-top-box say that the set-top-box currently has the Jio TV app Don’t see the option. Initially it was expected that the set-top-box with Jio Fiber will provide 650 channel access through Jio TV apps. However, a few days ago, the company had made it clear that it would be necessary to have a separate cable TV connection to watch satellite channels with live fiber connections.

Live tv plus feature will come soon:

The JioTV + app has been given in the Jio Fiber set-top-box. This will show all the content on OTT platforms.
