Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has launched its new smart TV in China. The company recently launched its 70-inch Redmi TV in the country and now the company has launched this TV with a 40-inch screen size. This smart TV has been launched in China for RMB 999 (about Rs 10,059).
Talking about the specifications, the Redmi TV has a 40-inch FHD display. It comes with 1920 x 1080 pixel support and a 60Hz refresh rate. This TV comes with a 178-degree viewing angle. The company has launched this 40-inch smart TV in a single option. It includes 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. It comes with the latest Android TV Cortex-A53 quad-core Amlogic processor, which has a clock speed of 1.4 GHz.
This smart TV includes two 8W speakers as well as Dolby Audio and DTS 2.0 + Digital Out support. Talking about connectivity, there is WiFi, two HDMI ports and a USB port, 1AV interface and Ethernet port. This new Redmi TV comes with PatchWall UI. It also has the AIoT Smart Interconnection feature, which helps users to control smart devices and apps.
Earlier in August, the company introduced Redmi TV with a 70-inch 4K HDRRedmi TV display. Talking of TV features, it has ultra-thin bezels. Redmi TV has been launched in China at a price of RMB 3,799. The price in Indian rupees is around 38,000 rupees. However, there is no information about whether or not this Redmi TV will be launched in India.
However, India is a big market for Xiaomi, so it can be expected that the company will launch this TV in India soon. It is a smart TV that comes with 4K HDR, DTS HD and Dolby Audio. It has a 70-inch screen.
